Foul Play Suspected In Death Of Chickens At Concord School
CONCORD, Calif. - Officers are looking for suspects involved in fatally strangling two chickens at a Concord Elementary School just before Thanksgiving, a police spokesman said.

Wendy Foley, a 51 year old woman, discovered a rather large corn snake that must have slithered into the clothes washer while the door was ajar. Somehow it survived a whole wash cycle.
When Wendy opened the washer door, the type which was a glass front loading door, she saw something that didn’t look right.
“I took it to be part of a pair of jeans and then I wondered if it was a toy snake that children use. But then it poked its tongue out at me.”

A UK Hampshire aquarium is celebrating after successfully breeding one of the most dangerous amphibians on Earth.
Phantasmal poison frogs, which can kill anybody who merely touches them, have skin 200 times more toxic than morphine.
The frogs, found on the western slopes of the Andes in Ecuador, South America, are so rare they are in danger of becoming extinct.

Being both brave and stupid, he ultimately learned the hard way that you can’t always win no matter how tough you are. A vet sedated the dog and then removed a total of 1,347 quills. The dog survived and hopefully learned a valuable lesson.

Police: murderous moose a suspect in Swedish death
STOCKHOLM (Associated Press - AP) -- Swedish police say they've cleared a man who was arrested for allegedly murdering his wife after deciding the culprit was most likely a moose.
Police spokesman Ulf Karlsson says "the improbable has become probable" in the puzzling death last year of 63-year old Agneta Westlund. She was found dead after an evening stroll in the forest.
According to news reports, the victim's husband, Ingemar Westlund, was jailed for 10 days. The case against him was dropped in January.
US Airways Capt. Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger really a hero?
Everyone has probably heard about the story of how US Airways Capt. Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger landing an Airbus A320 into the Hudson river. After hitting a flock of geese that knocked out both engines he heroically landed Flight 1549 into the frigid waters of the Hudson.
